The RAC worker reckons he has gone through a 500g jar of every week since he was two years old.

He also ate takeaways, chips and chocolate cookies but would gag if he tried fruit and vegetables.

But when Michael tipped 18st last year, he contacted hypnotherapist David Kilmurry and was diagnosed with avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder.

After several sessions, Michael, from Malvern, Worcs, has enjoyed fruit, veg and chicken casserole for the first time — and lost 2st.
