I vomited constantly & thought I was going to die after taking skinny jabs I bought online to fit into my wedding dress
A BRIDE-to-be says she was left so sick from taking skinny jabs bought online that she thought she was going to die.
Vikki Ryan, 38, was determined to squeeze into her wedding dress ahead of a fitting.
The mum of two forked out £45 for a month’s supply of the GLP-1 RA weight loss injections, which she said had helped her previously.
But within an hour of injecting herself, Vicky was vomiting violently and sought hospital treatment.
She said: “I got to like 31 hours of being continuously sick. I couldn’t go to the toilet to pass urine.
"I felt terrible. I felt like I was going to die at one point.”

Salon owner Vikki, from Hartlepool, Co Durham, said she had never been seriously overweight but wanted to shed a few pounds for her dress fitting next month.
On December 10, she gave herself an injection but feeling no effects, upped the dosage. That evening, she went to her mum’s and began to feel ill.
She said: “I went upstairs and was projectile vomiting. I went home and was sick again.
"I went to sleep for a few hours and just kept projectile vomiting.

“From that night I was sick every half an hour for the next 30 hours.”
At hospital, a nurse told her there was little that could be done and she was sent home to recover.
More than 20 days later she has stopped vomiting but still feels unwell.
Vikki also says she is disgusted with herself for buying a drug online and is urging others not to make the same mistake.
She added: “Now, I think why did I inject a drug I ordered off the internet into my own body?
“I say to everyone, ‘Don’t do it’. It’s scary what it can do to you.”
Experts warn that obtaining a GLP-1 RA without a prescription is not legal.
