HUNDREDS of Brits flocked to the SSE Wembley Arena tonight to get their jabs - and some were treated to a vaccine given by Bobby Norris.

The TOWIE star was joined by long-time pal James Argent, Telly favourite Anthea Turner, Love Islanders Sharon Gaffka, Joe Garrett, and twins Jess and Eve Gale for The Sun's Big Boost event.

Speaking at the event Bobby, 35, said: "It's good to see the turnout we're having.

"The more jabs in arms we can do, the better. It doesn't matter if it's your first, your second or your booster. Just come."

The site in West London had a mix of both walk-ins and booked appointments which administered Pfizer from 12 stations.

Arg, 34, said: "It's important that everyone makes their own decisions. I wanted to get a booster because it makes me feel safer.

"I know it also makes my parents and grandparents happier to be around me.

"It's been a great turnout. I'm pleased to be here and to see Bobby in action."

Former civil servant Sharon Gaffka, 25, got her booster jab from Bobby who has been dishing out the life-saving inoculation throughout the year.

She said: "I am now triple vaccinated. My brother is a frontline worker as a nurse in the NHS and my mum is clinically vulnerable so for me it's so important that I protect my family and others around me.

"It was strange having someone I know on a personal level vaccinate me but Bobby is really gentle and I didn't feel a thing.

"I'm happy with my vaccine experience."

Anthea Turner, 61, who also received her booster said: "Protect yourself. This is the best thing that we can do to help others is to protect ourselves.

"With a booster you have a 93 per cent chance of protection.

"There is so much at stake and we have learnt now that the collateral damage of lockdown is a frightening price to pay. We have to avoid that at all costs.

"This now isn't just about taking up beds in ICU, this is about staff who are at breaking point and understaffed due to the high contagious nature of Omnicron."

There are 2,000 appointments up for grabs at the Jabs Army event at SSE Arena Wembley in North London from 5pm to 10pm today.

It’s not just jabs on offer — there will be live music and special celeb appearances.

NHS England chief Amanda Pritchard said: “Turning a big bash into The Big Boost is the kind of adaptability and ingenuity that has made the NHS vaccine programme such a success.

"I’m so grateful to The Sun for putting on their event as part of the mission.

"Getting jabbed remains the best way to protect yourself and your family this Christmas."

Readers smashed the 30,000 volunteer Jabs Army target last week in just three days, pledging to do shifts at more than 1,500 centres.

The Sun is also urging readers to sign up to the Jabs Army campaign to make the rollout as smooth and fast as possible.

A booster shot is the best protection against Omicron, with early data suggesting it pushes efficacy back up to 75 per cent.

Dr Jenny Harries, UKHSA Chief Executive said: “Once again, we urge everyone who is able to get a booster jab to come forward and do so. It is the best defence we have against this highly transmissible new variant."

Nigel Railton, CEO of National Lottery operator Camelot, said: "After taking the difficult decision to postpone its Big Thank You concert, The National Lottery was delighted to support The Sun and the NHS in staging the Big Boost at Wembley Arena.

"My sincere thanks to NHS staff and volunteers who have given so much to make this possible - your dedication is remarkable.

"National Lottery players can look forward to the rescheduled Big Thank You concert at Wembley Arena in April to acknowledge the £1bn-plus in Good Causes funding that they have now contributed to the UK's response to the pandemic."

Book yourself an appointment at our special vaccination site at the SSE Wembley Arena on Wednesday, December 22, and you'll get to enjoy some festive cheer along the way, including music and some special guest appearances.
