, each month's full moon is named after an identifiable trait of the time of the year in which it occurs.
"April’s full moon often corresponded with the early springtime blooms of a certain wildflower native to eastern North America: Phlox subulata — commonly called creeping phlox or moss phlox — which also went by the name 'moss pink,'" the Farmer's Almanac reads.
And according to Meghan Rose, a spiritual advisor, the pink moon will have a profound effect on all star signs.
WHAT TO EXPECT
"[The April pink moon] actually marks the beginning of the Taurus-Scorpio eclipse that's taking place over the next year and a half, so this is actually going to be really powerful," Rose noted.
Therefore, she said that all 12 of the sun signs will feel the effects of the full moon in an "amplified way."
"The moon from an astrological standpoint rules over our emotions and our inner world.
"The amplification of it being an eclipse is going to halt any manifestation and ritualized manifestation specifically because the energy is so chaotic," she explained.
However, the changes we will see are internal rather than external.
For instance, Rose said that one may see their view of the world shift.
So, if you've been working on manifesting external achievements, positions, or goods, it may be a time to turn your thoughts within to see if there's work that needs to be done.
Then you may return to your outer manifestations with a renewed sense of self.
