EVERY Sunday, our resident Tarotscope reader Kerry King will be revealing what surprises, challenges and excitement awaits you in the week ahead.
Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.
Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.
Here's her predictions for YOUR star sign...
ARIES (Seven of Wands, Two of Wands, Knight of Wands)
A trio of Wands cards this week, so you’re literally in your element, as Wands represent the Fire element astrologically.
What this means is that you’re brimming with confidence and ideas, feeling ready and raring to go, able to put your plans into action. Good!
The Seven of Wands sees you defending your turf, standing strong in the face of challenges, and generally feeling in command of your environment.
The Two of Wands shows you almost can’t put a foot wrong this week, even if you actually tried to mess things up! You are so fuelled by good energy and intentions that you will bring optimism and motivation to whatever you focus on.
The Knight of Wands advises you to prioritise something adventurous, daring and even a little risky.
No pain, no gain, right? Travel may be on the cards, a journey or holiday or even location change to pursue your heart’s desire. Go make something wonderful happen.
TAURUS (Strength, Knight of Cups, The Chariot)
This week unfolds as a very meaningful and important journey.
You begin in one place (physically or mentally) and end in quite another, and the progress is positive.
Strength and The Chariot are both about actual movement and travel, as well as personal
development and growth.
Maybe you’re ready for a new scene in more ways than one.
Consider your “place” in this world, because where we’re at physically is so very important for our sense of self, our opportunities and our security.
I think you’re experiencing “growing pains”, and you’d be wise to acknowledge them and begin to act upon them.
The Knight of Cups reveals there is a relationship element to this.
A yearning for something more romantic, stable or inspiring.
I think you feel you are lacking what you need where you’re at, and wondering if new landscape = new opportunity.
Don’t just wonder, go find out!
GEMINI (The Hierophant, Eight of Coins, Page of Cups)
The Page of Cups has you in a bright, sparky and creative mood this week, you’re looking for new tricks to get into, and eager to fast-forward your projects to the next stage.
This is good, but also dangerous because, of all of the signs, you have a tendency to cut corners when you get excited (I know this, I’m a Gemmy too).
The Hierophant is like the wise, old sage of the tarot, upholding tradition and morality and
Standards.
Imagine that he is looking over your shoulder this week, tutting if he spots you doing anything a bit “ropey”. So, don’t!
The Eight of Coins asks why you would want to, anyway?
There’s more to be learnt from pushing through obstacles than side-stepping them. Invest in doing things the right way, using due diligence, and doing your research fully.
You might even enjoy it. And what you gain and learn will be so much more valuable.
Be good.
CANCER (The Hermit, Page of Swords, The Star)
This is an important fact to realise, and act upon. The Hermit and The Star are a “power duo” which, together, will bring you the inspiration, time and energy to do something UHmazing.
Something which is creative, fulfilling and represents a dream-come-true kind of project.
You’ll do it solo, alone, maybe even at home. I can only wonder what on earth it is!
A painting? A poem? A dress-making or cooking extravaganza? A DIY project? A new language-learning course? UP TO YOU.
The only obstacle is the Page of Swords. Your infamous indecisiveness. Don’t procrastinate over this.
Fixate and focus on the first idea that pops into your head- well, as long as it’s one you like!
LEO (Four of Coins, Ten of Wands, Three of Coins)
When you’re so very busy, and spread too thinly as a result, it can be difficult to spot and act upon new opportunities.
You simply don’t have the bandwidth or headspace to take even more on.
The Four of Coins and Ten of Wands combine to pinpoint this is the issue for you right now.
You’ve taken on too much, and you’re burdened by keeping so many balls in the air that you can’t see anything else.
The Three of Coins reveals you could be in danger of missing out on something significant and rewarding.
Someone has noticed your talents and skills, and has something new and exciting for you.
This is likely related to work, but it could be in your personal life too, possibly linked to a hobby, community role or creative group.
Less is more. Cut back on your commitments. Clear some space.
Take slower, deeper breaths, and look around you- there is something waiting to catch your eye.
In short: you need to drop some balls!
VIRGO (Nine of Wands, Seven of Swords, Ace of Cups)
Feels like a friendship or romantic relationship is going to begin, or rekindle, this week, as shown by the loving and magical Ace of Cups.
This is a positive thing, and you should value these “early days”, so much so that the Seven of Swords asks you to keep it to yourself right now.
Maybe it’s just because new things grow more fully and healthily if the environment is quiet and peaceful.
Maybe others might be jealous or opinionated.
Maybe you just don’t want to divert your energy away from this fledgling connection.
The Nine of Wands reveals you might be sat there thinking ‘I know who this could be about, but it’s too difficult and there are too many obstacles’.
Well, think again. Whatever person you’ve been thinking about recently, know that the barriers between you are not HALF as high as you think.
You can reconnect, you can make that first move, you can extend an invitation.
So, go reach out to someone you admire and would love to have in your life. It’s possible.
LIBRA (Four of Wands, The Moon, Judgement)
There’s always more going on around us than we could ever possibly realise, as we’re not mind-readers nor are we especially good at “seeing” things clearly, everything gets distorted through our own “what does it mean for me” lens.
Libra, look closely.
The Moon shows there are secrets and hidden knowledge swirling around you this week, which you could uncover if you spot the clues to their presence (a guarded look, a chewed lip, a downcast face…). Probe!
Judgment shows it’s relating to something in the past, and that it’s about the left-over emotions and perceptions people have because of this event.
The Four of Wands shows it could be related to work or your home circumstances.
Also, that this information or news will prove to be useful in helping to progress and go up to the next level in some way.
When we know the truth, we can work with it.
When we don’t, we’re just flying blind, hoping for the best.
Tune in to what’s going on around you this week. Ask questions. Listen. And learn.
SCORPIO (Queen of Coins, Two of Swords, Ten of Swords)
It’s time to turn and face a situation which has become more and more difficult, but you’ve felt reluctant (or unable) to tackle.
The Two and Ten of Swords are tough cookie cards, and drag you to the “scene of the crime” to make a case and make a judgment at last. It’s likely, too, that this will
lead to a severance or ending of some kind, but of your own making.
You will make a choice that puts this situation in the past, one way or another.
The trick here is shown by the Queen of Coins. Be rational, pragmatic, dispassionate and calm.
Put your own best interests at heart (because who else will?) and take this step-by-step, coolly and calmly.
You have more of an advantage than you think, and the ball IS in your court.
You should try to fix what can be fixed, address what is in your sphere of influence, and acknowledge what lies outside of it and can no longer serve you.
That stuff, frankly, can GO. You will feel a million per cent better after you’ve tackled this, so get to it.
SAGITTARIUS (Seven of Coins, Five of Wands, The Fool)
Troubling situations, fall outs or conflicts have made you pause in a major way.
The Five of Wands reveals you’ve had enough of putting up with other people’s BS, and you want to take BACK some power and control here. Good!
The Fool and the Seven of Coins combine their powerful “start again” energy to motivate you to turn the page and leave behind the things, people and places which have become intolerable.
You’re a good-natured person, and you have lots of resilience, so the fact you’ve reached this point shows that it is getting too much.
Identify what needs to exit. Identify what direction you wish to take from now on.
Identify the first step towards that, and make it, with confidence and optimism, this week.
You’re doing the right thing, and, because of that, every step you go on to take will just get easier and easier.
CAPRICORN (Seven of Cups, Three of Wands, The Devil)
The Devil is your star sign’s tarot card as it represents your ruling planet of Saturn (the tough taskmaster).
It reveals this is an important week for personal growth and using your innate strengths.
You’re determined, stoic, practical and ambitious.
You can achieve anything you set your mind and resources to- and I don’t say that lightly.
Stop doubting your capabilities, and have faith that you CAN do it.
The Seven of Cups asks you to dream a little dream this week, to spend some time wandering around your imagination and visualising a new goal or ambition that truly inspires you.
The Three of Wands reveals that, when you’ve done this, the Universe will swiftly bring forth opportunities to put your plans and ideas into action.
Have faith. New news is coming.
AQUARIUS (Page of Coins, Five of Coins, Two of Wands)
Previous wounds and pain can come back to haunt us in surprising ways.
We think we’ve processed what happened emotionally, but there still remain echoes which bubble up and surprise us.
The Five of Coins shows that a loss you endured still has the power to unsettle you.
It will manifest itself this week in the shape of a decision you need to make, and feel disempowered to do so.
The Two of Wands sees you flailing, which isn’t like you because you’re a logical, clear-eyed person who enjoys analysing choices and options.
What’s happening is that your old wound is smarting, and it’s making you fearful or doubtful of your ability to make good choices in the future.
Please acknowledge if you feel like this, and consciously step away from the fear.
The Page of Coins shows the healthy attitude to take is that you’re just living and learning, like everyone else.
You can’t guarantee outcomes BUT you can be led by your best hopes, not your worst fears.
PISCES (Temperance, King of Cups, Nine of Coins)
Your astrological symbol is two fishes, bound at the tail, swimming in opposite directions.
It’s thought that this reflects the conflict in you, the duality, and the urge to do one thing whilst following a path of least resistance towards something else altogether.
Temperance shows you’re in that mood this week.
You know what you ought to, should, and would like to do… but you also feel like you’ll probably end up doing the opposite.
The King of Cups vs the Nine of Coins.
It boils down to pleasing yourself and indulging in the “easy option” now, in the short term, OR pushing yourself in the here and now for a future, longer term gain.
We all struggle with sacrifices which have no immediate reward, but if only you could see what your efforts could build up into, you’d be working harder and for longer this week.
Pisces, knuckle down. You won’t regret it.
