Marks & Spencer launches Halloween-inspired Colin the Caterpillar cake complete with sugar maggots and blood spatter for just £7

NO question about it - Marks & Spencer's Colin the Caterpillar cake is THE only baked good worth serving on birthdays.
But just when we'd gotten over the excitement of a Christmas Colin the Caterpillar hitting M&S stores next month, the brand has only gone and launched a Halloween-inspired version - and it's more of a treat than a trick.
Complete with fake blood spatters running up and down its back, this ghoulish Colin is also covered in sugary maggots.
Like with all Colin cakes, the caterpillar's feet and face are made of solid milk chocolate - but in this Halloween version, they're a sickly green shade.
And don't even get us started on his creepy - yet incredibly delicious - red chocolate eyes.
Better still, this Halloween Colin only cost £7 - which means it's exactly same price as the ordinary one.
