WITH THEIR finger lickin' good chicken, KFC is always there with a quick, tasty meal during life's ups and downs.

But for six lucky couples hoping to get married, the fast food chain could be set to play an even bigger role in their lives - by taking over their big day.

The popular brand is offering to throw a fried chicken-themed wedding for the newlyweds and 200 guests.

As well as the food, they'll be sorting the ceremony, decor and entertainment too, according to .

That includes a KFC Food Truck keeping the congregation well-fed, as well as a KFC photo booth and a KFC-themed celebrant to make it official.

In an Instagram post - featuring a picture of a bride enjoying a bucket of their famous chicken wings - they wrote: "This is not a drill! KFC Australia is giving 6 fried chicken loving couples the opportunity to unite their love for chicken and each other.

"If you and your partner love KFC, then ’put a wing on it’. It’ll truly be love at first bite."

They also announced: "Along with getting to smash freshly cooked Kentucky Fried Chicken courtesy of the KFC Food Truck, the happy couple will also get a KFC-themed celebrant to make it all official, a KFC photo booth to capture those happy memories, custom KFC buckets and musical entertainment to get the first dance kicked off in true style."

However, there's a catch - couples need to be looking to tie the knot by May 2020 and the competition is being masterminded by KFC Australia, meaning your nuptials would probably have to happen Down Under.

The brilliant idea was inspired by the surprising number of proposals which take place in the brand's restaurants.

"Over the years we’ve seen some amazing Facebook comments and have heard of some incredible proposals from fans taking place in our restaurants in Australia and around the world," revealed Nikki Lawson, managing director at KFC Australia.

It's reported that KFC will do all the leg work and entire fund the cost of the wedding - minus the booze.

Fried chicken fans keen to have their big day taken care of should by submitting a 200-word essay about why they should be the lucky pair.

You'll be asked to specify your preferred date, venue and number of guests, as well as you and your partner's Instagram handles.
