THERE'S nothing like dipping your fries or dousing your salad in good old Heinz mayo.
But now its Seriously Good Mayonnaise is set to receive a makeover - thanks to the addition of barbecue and mustard - and not all fans are too happy about it.
The popular sauce brand is introducing two new unusual flavours to its range.
These include Mayocue - a mash-up of mayo and barbecue.
And, also being introduced is Mayomust, a mix of mayo and mustard.
They follow the success of Mayochup, a combination of mayo and ketchup, which launched in September 2018 - arriving in the UK after a Twitter vote.
While the sauces will be available in stores nationwide in the United States from April, they are already for sale on Amazon.
However, it has not yet been revealed if - or when - the flavours might be stocked in the UK.
Heinz have said that the products will cost $3.49, or approximately £2.68.
“Sauce lovers nationwide have been mixing different condiments to create flavor combinations that will take their favourite foods to the next level for years,” said Nicole Kulwicki, director of marketing for Heinz.
She added: “First with MAYOCHUP sauce and now with MAYOCUE and MAYOMUST sauces, we’re taking out the guesswork to give our fans the perfect condiment blends from the start!”
However, Heinz fans gave mixed verdicts on the unusual pairings.
Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Heinz brought its mayo-ketchup combo, "Mayochup," to the U.S. last fall. Now they're adding two NEW sauces: A mayo-mustard combo called "Mayomust" . . . and a mayo-barbecue sauce hybrid called "Mayocue." NO...NO...JUST NO!"
Another added: "Apparently there is mayomust, mayocue, and mayochup.... idk bro I feel like this is taking things a little far."
A third shared: "today I discovered that bbq sauce, mustard, ketchup and mayo hybrids called mayocue, mayomust and mayochup exist AND IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT"
But, a fourth pointed out: "If you're genuinely grossed out by "mayocue" and "mayomust," you should probably know practically every burger joint's "secret sauce" is just mustard, barbecue sauce, mayo, and/or ketchup all mixed up together."
