These fake Pringles look almost better than the real thing…and people can’t get over the packaging
The pig character that adorns the knock-off product is far more quirky than Pringles' moustached mascot
THESE tubes of crisps have caught the attention of social media users for an amusing reason.
Prongles, which look suspiciously like cult brand Pringles, have been spotted on supermarket shelves.
When Buzzfeed writer Kat Angus spotted the barmy packaging, she couldn't resist sharing a snap of it on Twitter.
The Pringles tubes are decorated with cartoon pigs who are riding skateboards.
They also come in two flavours - "onions and cream" and "salt and potato" - and feature the tagline: "One you pop... that's great!"
Kat said: "This photo just keeps getting better the longer you look at it."
It's safe to say that many people have enjoyed Kat's observation, as more than 24,000 people have liked her tweet since she posted it last night.
One Twitter user joked that they'd found a link between the characters and the packaging.
They remarked: "Omg they're skateBOARders. Boars who skateboard. ...I'll go home."
Another mocked: "My favourite part: 'salt AND potato!'... because a large tube of salt just cries out for a little starch."
