Pink Prosecco flavoured cheese is now on sale… but would YOU want to try it?

ALCOHOL lovers can now take their passion one step further as Prosecco CHEESE is now a thing.

Not only has the unusual Wensleydale cheese arrived just in time for Christmas, but it is also pink-coloured with a raspberry flavour.

The pink-hued cheese can be bought as a 200g block for £4.50 from The Great British Cheese Company and is described as a “treat for anybody with a sweet tooth”.

The explains: “You’ve probably heard of the popular at Christmas classic, Wensleydale with Cranberries.

“Wensleydale has a supple and crumbly texture and a milky freshness, paired with fruit such as Cranberries, the acidity cuts through rich cheese resulting in a balanced flavour.

“Pairing Prosecco and Raspberry with Wensleydale produces similar savoury, sweet and acidic flavour combinations.”

As well as Pink Prosecco cheese, the company also sells Sticky Toffee Tastic truckles, Peri Peri Cheddar and a Whiskey Mac flavour.
