A YOUTUBER with a hankering for a steak bake wowed viewers when he took on a monstrous Greggs eating challenge - and won.

Adam, who runs the YouTube channel '', managed to scoff £40 worth of food at the high-street baker in less than 30 minutes.

The incredible feat saw 32-year-old Adam tuck away 11,500 calories in one sitting, after stocking up on food at the Greggs branch in White Rose shopping centre in Leeds.

In addition to the bumper calorie content, his epic meal also contained 284 grams of protein, 1,229 grams of carbohydrate and a staggering 603 grams of fat.

The experienced eater said: "It was a piece of cake, as in literally some of the items were pieces of cake.

"But then again I do this for a living, so the challenge was easier for me.

"I really wouldn't encourage anyone else to try and eat this much pastry - ever.

"The technique is to chew very little, but really it's all about practice and working up to this level of stomach capacity over time."

The huge order, dubbed "the ultimate Greggs brunch" by Adam, contained a selection of rolls, pasties and bakes, as well as a couple of pizza slices for good measure.

Meanwhile, the dessert portion of the massive meal included a cinnamon bun, an egg custard tart, a pair of yum yums and a stomach-churning eight donuts.

The 11,449-calorie meal represented well over four times the daily 2,500 recommended calorie intake for men.

And Adam managed to tuck it all away in under half an hour - and all without getting any crumbs stuck in his enormous beard.
