Foodie shares incredible air fryer mac ‘n’ cheese recipe but not everyone is convinced it’s a good idea
A FOOD fan has shared a unique way of making a familiar dish, but some people have pointed out why it might not be the best method to use.
Man 'n' cheese usually requires a few steps to achieve the perfect gooey middle and crispy cheese top, but one foodie side tracked all of them and opted to you a trust air fryer instead.

Posting on the TikTok account @caughtsnackin, they shared how they whip up the cheesy dish in minutes.
"You've never seen mac 'n' cheese made like this," he exclaimed in the clip.
In a clean air fryer, the foodie started by adding in three large blocks of cheese along with some extra grated cheese.
He then poured cream on top of the huge pile of cheese, as well as a dash of Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, flour, salt and pepper.

All the ingredients went directly into the air fryer with no dish or tray, which left some people scratching their heads.
After 15 minutes, the cheese was melted enough to add in the cooked macaroni pasta.
Which was then stirred into the cheesy sauce and cooked topped with seasoned breadcrumbs, plenty of butter and a few jalapenos for added spice.
The grub then had another five minutes in the air fryer before it was ready to serve.

"You'll never make it another way again," the foodie said.
But despite the easy recipe other TikTok users thought the method was a bit of a disaster.
One commented: "Jeez who ordered a heart attack with a side of pasta?"
"I love my air fryer, but not everything is meant for it. This needed a stove and an oven... the clean up is about to be crazy," another wrote.
"This actually makes me feel sick," a third quipped.
And someone else slammed: "I like how he says we would never make it another way, yeah because after the first damn bite you would have a damn heart attack."
