If you buy a whole joint but aren't feeding a whole family, you might find that you have quite a bit left over.
Once you have cut off what you are using, wrap the remaining bit up in foil and store in your fridge until you plan on using it again.
As long as it is stored in the correct way, it will be fine to reheat.

What is the best way to reheat gammon?
The best way to reheat really depends if you plan to slice it up or keep it as a joint.
Ideally you will reheat the meat in an over either way, but you could also use a microwave.
If you keep the gammon in a whole piece then you can put it on a baking sheet and pop it in the oven.
Heat the oven to 350F (180C) and cook it for 15 minutes or until warmed through.

If you are reheating just a few slices of gammon then you don't need to reheat the whole oven for that.
You can pop it in the microwave for 1-2 minutes until it is heated through.
Or you could get your air fryer out and put the gammon in for 3-4 minutes or use a pan on the hob on medium heat for 2-4 minutes each side.
How many times can you reheat gammon?
It is not recommended to reheat gammon more than once.
This is due to the meat drying out if reheated multiple times.
If you plan on dividing the meat up into different meals from the start then it is an ideal to portion it out and just heat it up when you need it.
You can also freeze any left over gammon if you don't plan on eating it any time soon.
Once ready to use, make sure you defrost it thoroughly and use one of the methods mentioned to heat it up again.
