I swiped 10 bottles of ketchup from Asda because they were reduced to just £1 each – but it’s left people divided
A SAVVY shopper has revealed that she swiped 10 bottles of ketchup from Asda because they were reduced to just £1 each.
But while Kerry Addison was thrilled with her discounted finds, not everyone else was as keen.
Kerry proudly took to Facebook to show off her epic haul, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting in the social media group, , which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper attached an image of her ten bottles of reduced sugar and salt Heinz tomato ketchup.
Kerry said: “£1 at Asda.
“Date says 1st July but I'll risk it. I can't see it going off.”

Normally in Asda, a 665 gram bottle of the Heinz less salt and sugar tomato ketchup will cost you £4.50.
If you were to buy ten bottles, it would set you back a staggering £45, so it’s no surprise that Kelly was stunned when she saw the bottles for only £1 each, spending just £10 on her huge haul.
Kerry shared her post just 13 hours ago, but it has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 597 likes and 202 comments.
But social media users were totally divided by Kelly’s post - while some were impressed with her bargain buys, others weren’t so sure.

One shopper explained: “It won’t go off! Great bargain.”
A second agreed: “They are a best before so not a problem, great bargain.”
However, someone else said: “Use by dates are for safety, best before dates are for quality. Ketchup has a best before date.
“It won't "go off" but when it's past its best before date this can affect the taste, texture, smell or appearance.
“It won't harm you if eaten past its best before date but it might not be as nice.”
Another added: ”Why do you need 10, you're silly if it's going out of date, unless you're gifting them.”
To this, Kerry confirmed: “It will keep. I go through loads, I have it on everything.”
At the same time, many food fans shared their thoughts on the ketchup in the comments.
One foodie claimed: “It’s not very nice though.”
A second agreed: “The less sugar one is not nice. My kids won't touch it.”
