YOU’VE no doubt heard about McDonalds’ new menu, which, amongst other things, features a brand new McFlurry.
The Biscoff flavoured dessert has been an instant hit with fast food fans who have been eagerly lapping up the ice cream swirled with Lotus Biscoff biscuit pieces.
But rather than fork out on the £1.99 price tag on the limited edition menu item, some food pros have come up with a cheap and easy way to make it at home.
And all you need is three bargain buys from to create a similar flavour you can enjoy on your sofa.
And, if you get into the swing of things, it’ll even save you when the McDonald’s McFlurry disappears altogether on August 1st.
So what do you need and how is it done?

The experts at have shared the things to add to your shopping list, as well as how the total comes to just 27p per serving.
They said you need to look out for Strachan's Scottish Traditional Dairy Ice Cream 2 litre, which works out 9p per serving, and Belmont Caramelised Biscuits, which are 4p per biscuit.
Finally, you need to get your hands on Belmont Biscuits Smooth Biscuit Spread and the amount you require will only cost you 14p.
And the grand total of 27p means a whopping saving of £1.72 in comparison to McDonald’s offering.

Once your shopping basket is full and you’ve got the ingredients home, it’s time to master the recipe – and it couldn’t be simpler.
explains: “Spoon the biscuit spread into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on a low setting for 10-20 seconds or until a runny consistency.”
Next, you put a separate serving of ice cream into another bowl and top it with some crushed biscuit.
Once you’ve added your desired amount, “pour the melted biscuit spread on top and grab a spoon, and you’re done!”
And a spokesperson from explained that the easy recipe can be made by all the family – all in the knowledge you’re saving big money.
They said “The Biscoff McFlurry is one of the most in-demand menu additions finally coming to the UK.
“Kids are bound to love it, but at £1.99 each, the cost can add up.
