Teenager creates viral 1,248 calorie doughnut burger inspired by Homer Simpson – would you try it?
A TEENAGE chef hopes to make some serious d’oh! with his doughnut-topped “Homer Simpson burger”.
Alfie King, 13, created the crazy double burger with cheese and bacon, slathered in home-made bacon jam, sandwiched in an iced ring covered with sprinkles.
He dedicated it to the doughnut-loving cartoon dad, saying: “I’ve loved the Simpsons for years.”
His own dad Dave, 36, said of his son’s burger: “It sounds crazy, but it’s incredible. It really works.
"The Homer burger is probably the most random thing he has come up with."
Alfie, of Torrington, Devon, has a huge social media following and is already catering for events.
