THERE'S nothing worse than taking your kids for a McDonald's Happy Meal, only for them to get greasy fingers the minute they tuck in.
But former Love Island star Cara De La Hoyde has revealed a winning mum hack to turn the Happy Meal box into a plate in seconds.
Cara, who has two kids with husband Nathan Massey, took to to share the hack, writing: "What’s your best mum hack?
Il go first..."
Over the top of the video, she wrote: "Absolute game changer.
"If you didn't know about this, thank me later."
In the video, Cara is seen pulling the tab from around halfway down the Happy Meal box.

The tab then releases a string of cardboard, and effectively splits the bottom half of the box from the top.
Once the top is removed, the bottom serves as a plate - with kids able to use cutlery to dig into their chips and fried food rather than getting their fingers greasy.
Cara was quickly praised by other parents for sharing the hack.
"What!!! Never look at a happy meal box the same again! Love it," one wrote.
