Mum shares photo of her child’s lunchbox but gets savaged by parents, so can YOU see what they’re moaning about?
PREPARING your child's lunchbox can be tricky - not only do you have to come up with creative dishes to ensure all key groups are covered but also find new ways so your kid doesn't get bored.
This is exactly what one Aussie mum did - but although the contents of the lunchbox were nutritious and the butterfly-shaped sandwich definitely scored 10/10 for creativity, a few parents appeared to have a problem with it.
In a post to a popular Facebook parenting group, an anonymous mum shared a snap of her prepared kid's school lunchbox that contained a ham, avocado and tomato sandwich, cheese stick, a small pot of yoghurt, some tomatoes, cucumber, pieces of cantaloupe, pineapple, pear, and a sugar-free unicorn bar for pudding.
But while some praised the artistic approach, a couple of fellow mums and dads weren't so impressed.
''That's so gorgeous! It's a shame it won't look the same when they open it....it all gets messed up once in the bag,'' one pointed out.

A second thought: ''Won't the sandwich go very dry by tomorrow??'' whilst another added: ''Shouldn't it be in an air tight container.''
''Don't forget to loosen the yogurt lids,'' commented someone else, explaining that young kids struggle to open the pots by themselves.
Another member of the group appeared to have an issue with the avocado in the sandwich - this, according to the person, would go brown by the time it's lunchtime.

However, in order to avoid this, the mum quickly shared her recommendation - adding a bit of salt and lemon juice.
Despite the critical remarks, there were also plenty of those who were inspired and loved the creativity, like this user who said: ''I would seriously wet my pants if I got a butterfly sandwich for school!
''I love the effort you put into everything.''
''You're a fantastic mamma. A butterfly sandwich. Wow,'' read another positive comment.
''This is all brilliant brain food. Looks delish.''
