Mum-of-16 reveals clever dinner time hack that makes feeding her bumper brood a breeze

JENI and Ray Bonell pride themselves on "raising one of Australia's biggest families", but they really need to give themselves a pat on the back for ingenuity.

The Queensland couple, who are parents to 16 kids, regularly keep their social media followers updated on their mind-boggling grocery hauls, meal preps and family outings.

But this week, the couple craved breakfast for dinner, serving up scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans and toast for their hungry tribe - and according to Jeni, it took a whopping three dozen eggs to satisfy them.

In the family's latest Facebook post, Jeni shared the cooking and plating process for her followers.

"I’m cooking dinner. Bacon, eggs, beans and toast," she began.

"I ask hubby to sort out the toast. Please butter and cut and put on plates. I turn around to find him 'saving time' by cutting it with the kitchen shears," she laughed.
