Mum shares what you should put in EVERY lunchbox to make sure it’s ‘healthy’

The groups, labelled from 1-6, consisted of fruit, vegetables, dairy, meat or meat alternatives, grains and water.

The idea of the chart, which was devised by the Australian government, is that you pop one item from each category into your kid’s lunchbox to avoid any disapproving teachers while giving your child a filling and nutritious lunch.

For example a perfect lunchbox could include; a pear, carrot sticks, tzatziki dip, chicken kebab sticks, fruit loaf and a water bottle.

Captioning her post, the mum wrote: “This came in my preppys school pack. Thought it may be helpful to share here! (sic)”
