Get McDonald’s Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 over and over again with money saving expert’s clever tip
A MONEY saving expert has revealed the simple trick which means you can bag a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99.
Martin Lewis shared the savvy tip on his website, revealing that in order to save you must buy something first.
He recommends buying the cheapest item you can on the menu which is reportedly a mini McFlurry at 59p.
Once you have made your purchase make sure you hang on to the receipt as you will need that to fill out a customer survey that secures your discount.
He explains: “It’s through a promo called ‘Food for Thoughts’, which rewards you with cheap grub if you fill out a quick survey about your experience after you’ve made a purchase.”
On the top of every receipt you will find a URL, www.McdFoodForThoughts.com, followed by a 12 digit entry code.
Simply visit the website where you will be prompted to enter the 12 digit entry code followed by the total you paid.
Once you have filled out the survey, which will take just a couple of minutes, you will be given a five digit code to be filled out on your old receipt.
This will bag you a Big Mac and fries for just £1.99 rather than £4.08 or £4.49 (depending on the meal size) simply hand it over to the cashier when paying.
And be careful to hang on to your next receipt! There is no limit as to how many £1.99 meals you can get which means theoretically you can have that price for life.
