Hyper-organised mum plans meals for the entire MONTH and even has a colour-coded spreadsheet to help

RUNNING a household takes a lot of work - so finding a fuss-free way to organise the day-to-day chores is paramount.

But one mum has taken organisation to a whole new level and revealed how she meal preps a whopping one month in advance – and even has a colour-coded spreadsheet to help.

Posting in the Mums Who Cook, Clean and Organise Facebook group the woman shared a detailed spreadsheet of her meals and shopping list for the following month.

She wrote: "I colour code all my meals, chicken, beef, pasta, slow cooker etc. That way I don’t put two in a row of the same protein"

She continued: "I have another spreadsheet of all the meals my family likes and I use that as my guide."

The incredible list is made up of columns including the date, meal, ingredients, how much it will make and a "shopping list" required for each dish.

She even said the kids help out too, as they have "a big cook up day" to "prep and cook all the freezer meals.”

While not all of the planned meals meals are freezable, the meal prep cuts down on cooking time throughout the month.

She added: “I do one massive monthly shop but of course I still need to duck into town to grab fresh fruit and veg once a week”.

Needless to say, other mums were completely blown away by her level of organisation which even saw her crowned the “cooking organisation queen”.
