Her post has racked up more than 1,000 likes, as she said: “No fancy equipment, no ice cream machine just THREE ingredients!

“This was my first attempt at making ice cream from home and it couldn’t be easier and quicker.”

Sharing the step-by-step method, she said: “So for 2 litres I used two pots of whipping cream (300ml each) and two tins of sweetened condensed milk (397g each).

“Put both the whipping creams and one and half of the condensed milk in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer, until stiff peaks form (careful not to over mix) then you add your flavour.

“(For strawberry ice cream I mashed a load of fresh strawberries (you can add colouring but I didn’t) and crushed walnuts and maple syrup for the other ice cream).

“As I made two flavours I separated Into two bowls one for my strawberry ice cream and one for my maple and walnut ice cream.

“Add your flavour to the mix and carefully fold it in.

“Once you’re happy transfer the ice cream mix Into a freezable container and freeze.”
