Festive fast food fans can now get KFC and Burger King Christmas tree decorations for free
TAKEAWAY fans can now get their hands on Christmas baubles in the shape of their favourite fast food - including a KFC bucket and a Burger King whopper.
Deliveroo is randomly selecting foodies to receive the ornaments free of charge in the run up to Christmas.
So the next time you order from one of the participating restaurants, you could get a little something extra with your meal.
The takeaway app has more than 1,000 tasty baubles up for grabs, which are hand-painted and worth £34.
The dishes on offer include three burgers – from GBK, Byron and Burger King, and a slice of the cheesy bites pizza from Pizza Hut.
Other cuisines aren't forgotten, with gyoza from Wagamama and a sushi roll from Yo!, as well as a pasta dish from Ask Italian and a KFC bucket also available.
Joe Groves, from Deliveroo, said: “Christmas isn’t just about pigs in blankets and Brussels sprouts and Deliveroo are here to prove it by giving our customers a foodie treat for their tree.
“We wanted to show off some of the most iconic dishes available from some of our best-loved restaurants, which are likely to get even Santa drooling as he puts your presents under the tree.”
Meanwhile, Spice Girls fans can get their hands on decorations inspired by the band.
And parents have been raving about a 3D felt Christmas tree which they say keeps kids entertained for hours.
