‘Hero’ McDonald’s worker reveals he put 11 McNuggets in every 10-piece box for years
SOMETIMES there are people in life who will go out of their way to make your day go that little bit better - and you don't even know it.
One such candidate has been unveiled as a former McDonald's worker who has admitted always putting 11 chicken nuggets in a ten-piece McNuggets box.
The "hero" man called Cody Bondarchuk, from Alberta in Canada, has seen his revelation go viral on Twitter.
He wrote: "I worked at McDonald’s for two-and-a-half-years and I put 11 nuggets in almost every 10-piece I made."
The ex-employee of the fast food chain - who appeared to have kept his thoughtful action under wraps - added: "The location was mostly drive-thru so not that I can remember, but I’d like to imagine they went home, saw the extra nug, and smiled a little."
He has roughly calculated that he owes the chain $1,600 - which is approximately £933.
Unsurprisingly, social media users have praised Cody in their thousands for his heart-warming confession, and he has been dubbed the "Robin Hood of McNuggets".
His post, shared yesterday, has already received 78k 'retweets' and more than 800k 'likes'.
One person commented: "Not all heroes wear capes, just name tags."
Another wrote: "You are an everyday hero. It’s these little things that can give people a lift!"

A third shared: "There is literally nothing better than an extra McNugget."
And a fourth added: "You are a beautiful man."
It comes after McDonald's announced they were extending breakfast service by half-an-hour.
The chain are also giving 2,000 Christmas jumpers away for free.
