Some of the eye-popping outfits have to be seen to be believed...
WITH the bride in a ruched cream mini-dress and the groom in a blue velvet suit, Hollywood star Jude Law and Phillipa Coan certainly stood out at their wedding this week.
But Jude, 46, and business psychologist wife aren’t the only famous couple to have donned unusual outfits on their big day – as these bizarre, and in some cases jaw-dropping, images show.
From Katie Price’s enormous, pink gown and Pamela Anderson’s wedding bikini to the Beckhams’ matching purple ensembles, the pictures prove that celebs can get it very, very wrong.
While some famous brides appear to go for a ‘bigger is better’ approach, others stray from the traditional white dress in favour of patterned, dip-dyed and brightly-coloured creations.
And one couple are even seen sporting a flesh-coloured leather bodysuit and a loincloth.

Katie Price… twice
Former glamour model Katie Price, 40, appears to be as unlucky in her wedding dress choices as in her marriages.
In 2005, she donned a massive pink, puffy number for her fairytale wedding to Peter Andre – which was later voted one of the worst celebrity dresses in history.
And in 2013, she drew attention for the short white dress she wore to tie the knot with Kieran Hayler. The pair married in the Bahamas, less than a month after Hayler popped the question.
Mum-of-five Katie, who was also previously married to cage fighter Alex Reid, was recently forced to deny she’s planning a ‘naked wedding’ to her boyfriend, Kris Boyson.
Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock
In true rock-star style, Pamela Anderson famously donned a white string bikini for her wedding to Kid Rock in St Tropez in 2006. The couple wed aboard a yacht, but later split.
Lady Mary Charteris and Robbie Furze
Hedonistic socialite Lady Mary Charteris wore a very revealing gown – designed by Lady Gaga favourite Pam Hogg – for her wedding to Big Pink frontman Robbie Furze.
The couple tied the knot at Stanway House in Gloucestershire in 2012, with Robbie dressed less outrageously, in a dark, pinstriped suit.
Mary, who has a reputation as a rebellious party girl, is pals with a number of celebs, including Cara and Poppy Delevingne, David Beckham, Daisy Lowe and Rita Ora.
Susanne Bartsch
Susanne Bartsch, dubbed the ‘New York nightlife queen’, arguably wins the title for the most bizarre celebrity wedding dress of all time after opting for a flesh-coloured Thierry Mugler bodysuit.
She teamed the eye-popping leather creation with a structured mesh egg-shaped veil.
Her groom, David Barton, wore a loincloth.
Celine Dion and Rene Angelil
Singer Celine Dion’s gigantic bridal gown reportedly took 1,000 hours to complete and had a 20-foot train, while her crystal headpiece alone weighed seven pounds.
She donned the outfit for her 1994 wedding to her manager, Rene Angelil.
Victoria and David Beckham
She might be known as a fashionista, but we’re not sure many brides will want to copy Victoria Beckham’s choice of outfit at her and David’s wedding reception.
The couple wore matching purple ensembles for the do – and the pictures speak for themselves.

It was the pair’s second ceremony of the year – they had earlier gone to a London registry office. For the first ceremony, Cilla wore a short, red velvet dress and tights.
