CNN correspondent Max Foster took to social media this afternoon to post a video of a conversation he had with Nazli Ebross Fakier, a lady who joined the Duke and Duchess for tea today.

Alongside the video, Max wrote: "Archie’s happy in Cape Town, his parents tell Nazli Ebross Fakier who joined the couple for tea today. She was told he likes to sleep on his dad’s chest."

Speaking to Max, Nazli revealed how happy Meghan is being a new mum, adding that Archie is also "very happy" and "having a ball of a time".

"Dad couldn't stop talking about him being so happy in Cape Town," she said.

"He's also so happy to be here with his family, really really happy to be here with his family in Africa that he loves."

When asked what struck her the most about Meghan and Harry, she said: "Their easiness, calmness, towards this.

"They were just normal, two normal people that you have met for the first time and having a good conversation with."

Nazli also told : “We told Harry ‘we’ve known you since the day you were born’ and told him how much we loved his mum, I think it made him feel good that people adored his mum.”

Earlier this week, we told you how Meghan dressed Archie in the same bobble hat that Harry had worn as a baby in 1985, paying a sweet tribute to Princess Diana.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex touched down in Cape Town, South Africa on day one of their Royal Tour with their son being carried in Meghan’s arms.

And royal fans were quick to point out that the hat worn by the five-month-old appeared to be same one once worn by his dad Prince Harry 34 years ago.

The Duchess of Sussex was beaming as she met members of the Auwal Mosque in the vibrant Bo-Kaap area today.

Meghan and Harry sat down with locals to discuss their work with the community and to mark Heritage Day, a public holiday that celebrates culture and diversity in South Africa.

As they arrived at the mosque, the couple met Father Lapsley, an Anglican and equal rights campaigner who lost both hands and the sight in one eye in a letter bomb sent by the Civil Cooperation Bureau, a covert outfit of the apartheid security forces.

And the couple made sure to spend time with locals, appearing delighted as they were presented with gifts and flowers from adoring fans.

Meghan even tucked one of the flowers behind her ear.

The couple later headed to the Reception for Young People at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Cape Town - with Meghan wearing a striped maxi dress she had previously stunned in on her Australian tour last year.
