Wedding shamers mock bride-to-be for wanting to dye her dress blue to resemble ‘corpse bride’

WHEN you're researching your dream wedding dress, there are a few cliche terms which spring up time and time again.

"Timeless elegance", "contemporary chic"... but corpse bride? Well, that's something you'd only ever want to hear in Tim Burton movies.

Unfortunately for one bride-to-be, her unusual choice of design is being mocked online after she turned to the internet to help track down her dream dress... which just so happened to resemble a corpse bride's.

Posting a photo of a traditional white sleeveless bridal gown and a bright blue Halloween costume, the woman wrote: "So I am ordering my dress for my wedding later today and it is plain white.

"I want to add the bike to the edges and don't have time to dip dye as I work the graveyard shift - I was thinking about diluting the fabric paint and spraying it on. Would that work?"

Baffled by her decision to dye a perfectly normal white dress and turn it into a Halloween costume, another user then screenshotted the post and shared it in a Facebook wedding shaming group.

"Why would anyone would want the dress on the right is beyond me," the unimpressed user wrote.

And they weren't alone in thinking this as the bizarre post quickly racked up hundreds of comments.

"I mean, the one of the right is clearly a Corpse Bride cosplay dress with the ribs and all," another replied.

A third chimed in with: "I don't care about having a theme or not, but this dress is going to look like trash if she spray paints it."

"That'd be a awesome HALLOWEEN costume or something and it'd be so pretty," another wrote. "But this is a wedding. When will people learn the difference..."

For more wedding horror stories, a bride-to-be has been left fuming after a friend bought her dream wedding dress for her own big day.

And a "messy" groom has been accused of ruining wedding photos after turning up in just ONE shoe.

Plus a car-obsessed groom has been slammed for using the train of his wife's dress to clean his car's filthy wheels during their wedding photoshoot.
