"The Queen likes Meghan," he told the , pointing out that she eagerly made the couple ambassadors for the Commonwealth shortly before their May 2018 wedding.

"The problem is she has brought too much Hollywood entitlement with her," the royal expert - who once had lunch with Her Majesty - added.
"But her hypocrisy is just the same as any other member of the Hollywood elite: they all proclaim their eco-sensitivity while flying their private jets.
"But she gets skewered — they, on the whole, don't. She is the 'woke' member of the family."
Earlier this year, Meghan and Harry came under fire for taking private jets despite speaking out about the environment.
They were also criticised for not announcing the location of where Archie would be born or who his godparents are - and were also revealed to have spent £2.4m of taxpayers' cash refurbishing Frogmore Cottage.
However, the Duchess' recent fashion collection for charity Smart Works was well-received.
And her upcoming tour to Africa with the Duke is seen as an opportunity for them to win back over the public.
Meghan is due to speak out on "gender violence" while in South Africa.
She is currently in Rome with Harry celebrating the wedding of fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo.
