Inside Misha Nonoo’s stunning Italian wedding venue including a golden music room and a tree-lined courtyard where Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will party tonight
IN a matter of hours, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be partying the night away with the likes of Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, as they celebrate the wedding of best pal, Misha Nonoo.
The fashion designer is set to marry oil tycoon, Michael Hess, in a star-studded celebration later today, with the pair exchanging vows in a sunset ceremony at the breathtaking 17th century Villa Aurelia in Rome.
This morning, supplier trucks have been spotted arriving at the exclusive venue where 31-year-old Misha will wed her 33-year-old fiance – known as “Mikey”.
The lavish Villa Aurelia is one of the most sought-after and exclusive wedding venues in Rome, boasting elaborate interiors, extravagant reception rooms and breathtaking views of the city.
There’s also a dreamy courtyard – perfect for a fairy tale wedding reception – as well as gardens lined with floating candles, romantic lanterns and even chandeliers hanging from trees.
And with the villa rented out on an exclusive basis, with only one event organised each day, it’s ideal for a high-profile celebration.
Misha is thought to have invited around 300 guests to the extravagant nuptials, including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, US model Karlie Kloss and husband Joshua Kushner as well as Ivanka Trump and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
And they won’t be the only royals in attendance, as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are also expected to make an appearance.
Celebs were already getting into the party spirit last night, with Katy and Orlando as well as Karlie and Joshua spotted laughing and joking at the glitzy rehearsal dinner at posh Rome restaurant, Pierluigi.
The £100-per-head swanky seafood restaurant is one of the city’s oldest and most prestigious restaurants, where diners are thought to have enjoyed turbot, £60 lobster and tuna carpaccio.
Meghan and Harry, meanwhile, appeared to keep a low profile while Beatrice and Eugenie are yet to be seen.
Meghan, 38 and Harry, 35, left baby Archie back home as they landed in Italy yesterday, having taken a commercial flight to Rome.
Bahrain-born Misha is one of Meghan’s closest friends, and she was recently hired as the designer behind Meghan’s new Smart Works capsule collection.
A source told Fabulous Digital: “Misha helped introduce Harry to Meghan and the two women are the best of friends.
“Meghan wasn’t going to miss her wedding for the world.
“They’ve left Archie at home but it’s only for a couple of days and they will be back on Saturday.”
In their first joint interview on November 27, 2017 Meghan and Harry revealed they were set up by a female mutual friend.
Although they didn’t name names, Misha has long been considered by some fans to be the matchmaker.
She and Meghan are pals, and the Suits actress even wore , which costs £139, during her first public appearance with Harry – at the Invictus Games.
Speaking about their matchmaker, Harry said: “It was through her and then we met once and then twice back to back two dates in London, last July.
“And then it was I think about three, maybe four weeks later that I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana.”
