Mum uses £3 stain remover to get hallway carpet looking ‘like new’ in a matter of minutes

AS THE place where people enter the house with outside shoes on, it's unsurprising the hallway carpet can soon get stained with unsightly dirt.

But one mum says she has come up with a way to get her's looking "like new" in a matter of minutes using a £3 stain remover.

In a post on the group Mrs Hinch Made Me Do It, the woman called Cat shared pictures of the browned carpet surrounding her doormat.

Alongside the 'before' snaps, she also showed off 'after' photos once she had given it a good clean.

The mum revealed how she had managed to achieve the miraculous transformation with a very affordable stain remover.

She shared a picture of the Dr Beckman Carpet Stain Remover, which retails at £2.79 at Aldi.

Captioning the post, Cat wrote: "Omg this stuff is amazing. The before pictures are way worse than what the picture shows.

"It was dark! Now looks new!"

According to the brand's , the cleaner "uses its oxi powered formula and brush head attachment to get right to remove tough stains and odours from upholstery and carpets, in the home or car, and is ideal for pet owners".

Her revelation received a very positive response on Facebook, where fellow users shared their own good experiences.
