WE'RE pretty sure Kim Kardashian has been told countless times: "You'd look good in a bin bag".
However, the mum-of-four seems to have taken the phrase a little too literally when she stepped out in a trash-tastic outfit for dinner in New York this week.
The 38-year-old wife of Kanye West dressed in a sheer black top and leather trousers for the glam night out.
And she isn't the only fan of what we shall call 'bin bag' chic - with Jennifer Lopez, Molly-Mae Hague and a host of other celebrities jumping on the unlikely trend.
Indeed, J-Lo, 50, recently sported a black leather jump suit as she exited a TV studios.
The singer and actress accessorised with a pair of aviator sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and a black bag.
In a rather brave attempt at the look, Molly-Mae Hague wowed in a belted jacket and matching flared trousers.
The 20-year-old Love Island star kept the industrial aesthetic feminine with heels and tonged hair.
Another with a daring commitment to the trend is Sofia Richie who looked cool as she stepped out in a one-piece in New York.
Scott Disick's 21-year-old girlfriend finished her outfit off with black statement sunglasses, perspex heels and a small black velvet handbag.
Khloe Kardashian, 35, and 40-year-old sister Kourtney Kardashian are other famous faces to make rubbish disposal look unfathomably stylish.
And so have Meghan Trainor, 25, and Lottie Moss, 21, at recent film premieres.
Shanina Shaik, Rihanna, Talia Storm and Sabrina Dhowre, as well as sisters Chloe and Frankie Sims, have also dipped into the trend.
Back in March, model Jourdan Dunn kicked it all off when she wore a bin bag-esque jumpsuit on the Balmain catwalk.
