Kate Middleton ‘is finding her voice’ as she prepares for her role as future Queen, royal insiders claim
AS WELL as being a mum-of-three and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton will one day take on another role - Queen Consort.
And according to royal insiders, the 37-year-old is "finding her voice" in preparation, with sources claiming Kate is "growing in confidence".
Once Prince William takes the throne and becomes the King of England, Kate will then be known as the Queen Consort (a title given to the wife of a ruling king).
"She is now more open with what she wants to say, and funnily enough, she is more relaxed as well," a friend told .
"She is an adoring mother, and she is contributing publicly in the way we would want her to,” adds an insider.
“You see it more and more. The young student has turned into our future Queen.”
Earlier this week, Kate launched the permanent opening of her Back to Nature play garden, hoping it will encourage families and friends to have fun together.
The mum - who reportedly once said she finds public speaking "nerve-wracking" - spoke confidently in addressing visitors at the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Garden Wisley in Surrey.
"As a parent, I have learnt just how important it is to foster our children’s development, in all areas, not just physical, as soon as they are born," she said.
"We build the blocks, the foundations, for future success and happiness later in their lives. These relationships, however, stretch far beyond the crucial one that a parent or carer has with its child.
For years, Kate has been championing the importance of providing support for children in their early years, in order to support their mental health and wellbeing.
Speaking about the Duchess' commitment in meetings, some of which have been hours long, Kate Stanley, director of strategy at the NSPCC, said: "The Duchess wouldn’t just join us, she would stay for the whole meeting.
When Prince Charles ascends the throne, Kate Middleton will move up the line of succession to become the Princess of Wales - the title last held by her husband’s mum, Princess Diana.
Meanwhile Wills will likely inherit his dad’s title to become Prince of Wales.
If she wishes, Kate can use the name as a sweet tribute to the mother-in-law that she never got to meet.
