WHEN Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot last year, photographs of a rather unhappy looking Zara Tindall emerged online.

Now, the royal has revealed she "was uncomfortable" on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's big day, admitting "it probably showed on my face".

At the time, Princess Anne's daughter was heavily pregnant with her and husband Mike Tindall's second child, Lena.

Speaking to the , 38-year-old Zara explained her unborn baby had been "kicking the hell out of her" for an hour.

“I was uncomfortable! My bum sort of slid over either side and Lena kicked the hell out of me for an hour," she explained.

“It just wasn’t comfy at all and it probably showed on my face.”

During Harry and Meghan's ceremony, Bishop Michael Curry was praised for his energetic speech - which lasted 13 minutes.

And it was Zara who caught the attention of social media as she sat looking stunned by the length of the address.

"It was just the general amount of time everything was taking," she explained.

“I think my face was probably caught at the point when I thought: 'Right, he's going to finish now', and then he went off on another little story, and it was like, 'Really?'"

According to lip readers, Zara - who was eight and a half months pregnant at the time - turned to former rugby player Mike and whispered "I need the toilet" during the ceremony, which must have only added to her discomfort.

Just one month later, the couple welcomed second daughter, Lena on June 18.
