CHILDREN aren't afraid to express their true emotions - and these toddlers just couldn't hide how happy they were to see each other after being separated for... two days.
A video of the BFFs has emerged online, showing the two tots running towards each other after having to spend a whopping 48 hours apart - and it is SO cute.
The touching clip of Maxwell and friend Finnegan - who are both two years old - was shared online by Michael Cisneros - Maxwell's dad.
At the start of the clip, the kids are running towards each other as fast as their legs would carry them, before throwing themselves into each other's arms to embrace in a hug.
Michael told that the boys are "inseparable" after meeting a year ago.
"When they are away from each other, they are always asking about one another,” he revealed.
“They go to music class together, Dana Banana (a weekly music event) and they love to dance — both are excellent dancers.”
After embracing in a heartwarming cuddle, the duo have a quick catch-up, before running off together at lightening speed.
And viewers of the video just could not cope with the cuteness.
One wrote: "Nope, nope! That's literally TOO much cuteness and LOVE to handle!
"Maxwell and Finnegan, please stay friends FOREVER!"
Another commented: "Toddlers don't lie and their feeling are true."
While one described the embrace as "pure sweetness".
"As we grow older we unlearn this, unfortunately!" They wrote.
