Australian football player Trent Cotchin and his wife Brooke welcomed their third child on 27 July.

The pair already have two daughters, Harper, 4, and Mackenzie, 3.

Although the couple originally decided to call their son Becker, they began to have second thoughts after their friends and family kept making the same comment over and over.

Referencing the tennis champion, the new mum told the Herald Sun: "We had named him Becker the night before and everyone said he'll get called Boris."

Instead of using one of their fallback options, the couple decided to get their nearest and dearest to vote in a poll when visiting the baby in hospital.

Brooke explained: "We had a voting system in the hospital and everyone had to vote."

Three days later, the couple settled on the name Parker Foxx Cotchin for their new arrival - knowing that they had their family's full approval.

In more parenting news, this mum drew a "hug button" on her scared son's hand to help him through his first day of school.

And this mum revealed she made her own family take a "test" before letting them babysit.

Plus this mum was forced to pay £1,000 to send her three kids on a school trip has claimed she'll have to cancel a family holiday to afford it.
