Mum reveals clever hack for receiving Sainsbury’s Nectar card vouchers BEFORE doing your shop

A MUM has revealed how to receive Sainsbury's Nectar card vouchers, even before you've paid for your shopping.

Explaining she found it "frustrating" that she was given coupons after going through the till, the woman came up with a handy solution to bagging the vouchers she was due beforehand.

Writing the tip on Facebook's , the shopper explained: "I find it frustrating when I do my weekly shopping at Sainsbury's and THEN I'm given my coupons.

"They would have been handy and saved me a considerable amount, but now I may not need them again soon - or I might lose them.

"You can get your coupons before the actual shop if you go to a self service till, scan your Nectar card and then immediately click 'pay' without scanning any items.

"The till just dumps out all the coupons Sainsbury's was due to give you (such as triple nectar points). You can then use them immediately.

"If you find the customer assistants won't let you use the tills empty handed, buy something cheap when you first go in and then carry out the idea to get your vouchers before you go shopping for real."

And other shoppers were seriously impressed with the tip, with several revealing they'd be trying it out themselves.

One tagged a pal and wrote: ";How good is this? Remind me next time they have 25% off clothes and wine."

Others agreed it was frustrating, as some coupons expire within a week.

Another wrote: "I usually go for petrol first (obv Sainsbury's garage), where I get my coupons, check to see if I’ve got any decent ones before I decide if I’m going to Sainsbury's or not."
