Bride slammed by wedding shamers for wearing a see-through ‘tablecloth’ and combat boots on her big day
A BRIDE has been shamed online by social media users for wearing a dress they claim resembles a see-through “tablecloth”.
A photo of the bride and groom tying the knot in rather unusual attire was shared on the Facebook group – and it has prompted hundreds of shocked comments.
In the shot, the anonymous bride is wearing a strapless dress, which has a sheer crochet skirt over a mini skirt underneath.
The woman, who is confirmed to be pregnant, has finished off the look with black combat boots and tied her hair up in a bun.
A woman shared the image on the group with the caption: “wtf is up with that ‘dress’!”
Numerous people agreed, with one saying: “I'm concerned for her grandma's tablecloth.”
Many people said it looked more like a holiday outfit for the beach, than for a wedding ceremony.
One wrote: “Bathing suit cover up.”
And one critic commented: “When your man says let’s get married this afternoon at the courthouse, and you impromptu make a dress out of your curtains.”
Meanwhile the groom, casually dressed in a baggy checked shirt, black trousers and trainers didn’t escape criticism.
A Facebook user wrote: “His ill-fitting shirt, his shoes, her shoes, her dress, the fact that for a "maxi dress" it's like high-water length. All bad.”
However one person had some sympathy, and added: "Oh bless their hearts."
