Shoppers in a frenzy after Marks and Spencer reduces kids’ school uniforms to 89p… and one mum says she’s bagged ‘£270 worth of clothing for £20’

MUMS have been rushing to their local Marks and Spencer this afternoon, after the high-street brand reduced its kids' school uniforms to just 89p.

Shoppers were alerted to the mega bargain after one mum posted an image on Facebook, taken in her local store.

Captioning the image, "M&S, nationwide" the mum posted two snaps - one of three checked summer dresses in blue, red and green and another of the reduced sticker.

Covering the label, the sticker read: "Was £9, was £2.70, now 89p".

The mum explained she had managed to bag £270 worth of clothing "for just over £20".

And shoppers on the have gone wild for the deal, with several taking to the comments to tag their friends and family.

While some revealed the discounts were not available at their local store, others managed to bag the bargain.

Those who had been able to snap up the deal were quick to comment on the post, explaining which local stores were offering the discount.

One wrote: "Lakeside Essex has them" while another revealed the Coventry branch still had a number of sizes.

Further down in the thread, one woman shocked users by posting a snap of a £19.50 jumper she had managed to find in M&S... reduced to £1.89.

While the mega bargains aren't currently available online, it's certainly worth popping into your local M&S to see if you can find the deal in store.
