‘Lazy’ groom blasted for walking down the aisle in creased shorts and a t-shirt
FROM picking out the perfect dress to the lengthy pre-wedding pamper routine, there's no denying that brides spend a great deal of time (and money!) on their appearance in the lead up to their wedding day.
So considering how much work goes on behind the scenes, the least you can expect from the groom is to look smart on the big day - right?
Unfortunately for one newlywed, her groom took a more relaxed approach to his wedding outfit by turning up in a pair of creased shorts, ill-fitting T-Shirt and a baseball cap.
In comparison, the bride pulled out all the stops in a white tulle gown with a fitted blue bodice and floral detail cascading down the skirt.
Sharing a photo of the anonymous couple on a Facebook wedding shaming group, one user wrote: "I love her dress but seriously dude, put on a pair of dress pants at least!!"
Unsurprisingly, other members of the group were similarly horrified - and claimed it didn't bode well for their future.
"These grooms are trying to kill me," one wrote."This must be the laziest one yet, couldn't even be bothered to take his hat off."
Another added: "I hate a***** who agree to get married and then refuse to dress up. Cargo shorts and a T-shirt? Come on dude. One damn day out of your whole life you gotta wear dress pants and a button up shirt."
Meanwhile, a third moaned: "Urgh that's the same effort he's probably put into the whole damn relationship. How embarrassing for her."
Sympathising with the bride, one user added: "He didn't put any effort into his outfit, does she really think he will care about his marriage?"
