Prince Harry says he ‘can’t wait’ to introduce Meghan Markle and Archie Harrison to his ‘second home’ South Africa in touching Instagram post

IN just a few weeks, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will fly to South Africa for their first royal tour as a family of three.

Ahead of their trip with four-month-old Archie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have shared a photo montage of pictures taken all over the continent and told fans they're looking forward to "seeing all of you very soon".

The Duke wrote: "In just a few weeks, our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me.

"Our team has helped create a meaningful programme that we're so excited to share with you. On a personal note, I can't wait to introduce my wife and son to South Africa! We'll see you all very soon."

The post - which has already been liked over 43,000 times - confirmed that Meghan and Archie will be visiting South Africa with Harry who will then carry out further visits to Malawi, Angola and Botswana.

Every month, the @Sussexroyal Instagram has been selecting just 15 accounts to follow to provide smaller charities and organisations a greater platform.

In preparation for the family's tour, the post continued: "For the month of September, we wish to celebrate the beauty of this wonderful continent as a whole: from local organisations working hard to better the environment to the young leaders paving the way for a better future for the Commonwealth and beyond.

"These selected groups are a small representation of the incredible work being done in Africa today from countless people, local communities and organisations."

The couple then went on to list the 15 charities - including Everyday Africa, the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the African Wildlife Foundation - and use nine of their images for the photo montage.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry jetted off on a romantic trip to Botswana in 2017 and the Duke previously told Town & Country magazine that the continent is "where [her] feels more like [himself] than anywhere else in the world."

Earlier this month, the couple shared never-before-seen pictures of the trip to celebrate World Elephant Day - including Prince Harry approaching an elephant in its natural habitat and Meghan stroking an elephant's trunk.
