Aldi is selling a £50 dupe of the £500 KitchenAid mixer… and it’s perfect for Bake Off fans

THE Great British Bake Off is back in full swing, and if you're feeling inspired to try your hand in the kitchen, you might have been thinking about investing in a quality mixer.

Until you realised they cost upwards of £500, that is.

Whether you're whisking up a cake batter or a tasty dough, the handy gadget is every baking enthusiast's number one tool, but most of us don't have a spare £500 hanging around.

Well, panic over, because Aldi is releasing a £49 dupe of the expensive KitchenAid mixer, as used in the Bake Off tents.

The budget retailer has released the almost identical product in two different colours - the iconic red design as well as a white version that would blend in with any kitchen.

Part of Aldi's Special Buys, the Ambiano mixer will be available to buy from September 1, so you can start whizzing up a showstopper ASAP.

The gadget has a number of impressive features to rival its more expensive counterpart.

With six speed levels, as well as a pulse function, a four litre silver bowl and a tilting head, the product also includes a whisk attachment, dough hook and beater.

Added to that, it features a safety switch, anti-slip feet and special overheating protection.

It also comes with a three-year guarantee.

The mixer will be available to purchase in store and online as of tomorrow, but if you really can't wait until then, you can pre-order it now on the Aldi website.
