MEGHAN Markle fans are going wild over a 1962 print by Andy Warhol which says A Boy For Meg – not realising it’s referring to Princess Margaret.

He captioned it: “Ironic, don’t ya think..?”

Fans of the royal flooded Daniel’s page with comments, claiming pop art legend Andy had a "prophecy" about Meghan Markle 57 years before her son Archie Harrison was born in May this year.

One person wrote: "This is insane! It almost looks like her when she wears some of her hats and fascinators.”

Another said: “Haha Warhol called it back then.”

A third added: “Funny how life works out huh.”

Someone else wrote: “The genius of Warhol: When artistry meets prophecy.”

The print actually refers to the Queen’s sister, Princess Margaret.

The late princess gave birth to her son, David Linley, in 1961 and Warhol created one of his iconic prints from a newspaper front page commemorating the birth.

Mum-of-two Princess Margaret, who died in 2002, was nicknamed ‘Meg’ by the press.

One fan was aware of it origins, commenting on the post: “This is about the Queen's sister Princess Margaret ‘Meg’ and her son David Linley.”

Daniel, who did Meghan Markle’s wedding make-up, snapped the photo at the San Francisco Museum of Modern art.

He added in his caption that it was created using oil and egg emulsion on canvas, and he also hashtagged his post #princessmargaret.
