FOR MOST of us our old Barbie dolls and action figures were among our most prized posessions when we were younger.
And it seems that this should still be the case with some of the toys you’ve long since forgotten about now worth thousands.
According to you could fetch up to £1,000 for your old Furby that’s gathering dust, and even your McDonald’s toys are worth a pop.
Here we reveal the priciest playthings from days gone by...
ORIGINAL FURBY – UP TO £1000
Furbies were the toy everyone wanted under the tree in Christmas 1998 and now they are the one collector’s item all toy geeks are after.
If you have hung on to yours in its original box (unlikely) you could pocket up to £1,000 for a sought after design on eBay.
JURASSIC PARK BOARD GAME – UP TO £262
Boardgames have become somewhat obsolete among youngsters thanks to online gaming and smart phones – but that doesn’t mean that their value has decreased.
If you happen to own the Milton Bradley Jurassic Park game you can pocket a pretty sum of £262 if these Amazon listings are anything to go by.
JEWELED SPLENDOR BARBIE – AROUND £120
Barbie has become one of the most collectable items among toy enthusiasts and special edition models are among the most sought after.
Jeweled Splendor Barbie hit the shelves in 1996 as part of the FAO Schwarz Floral Signature Collection.
In her box, collector will pay in and around the £100 mark for this original.
SPICE CAM - £170
The Spice Girls officially took over the world back in 1997 and any fan worth their salt would have got their hands on this Polaroid Spice Cam.
And anyone that still has theirs knocking around among their old merchandise can flog it for £169.99 according to the website.
Well that’s if you can bear to part with it.
IT FROM THE PIT – ASKING PRICE £300
A little known board game with a huge asking price.
Owners of this 90s throwback will charge you £300 for the set, and if you own it you could do the same.
HOME ALONE 2 TALKBOY £815
Fans of Home Alone will be familiar with the Talkboy carried by Kevin McCallister, in fact it became so iconic it was brought out as part of the movie’s merchandise.
If you want to get your hands on one now you can expect to pay £815, and two have already been sold at that price on Amazon.
BOP IT EXTREME 2 - £122
Hours of endless fun could be had with a Bop It and even more so for those of us lucky enough to have a Bop It Extreme.
And it seems that adults are keen to continue the fun with the toy being flogged on Amazon for £122.
MCDONALD’S HALLOWEEN HAPPY MEAL - £65
Remember the days when your food came with a free gift?
Well your mum may well have stuck them on the carboot as soon as she got the chance but some McDonald’s toys are worth hanging on to.
If you’re lucky enough to still have a retro Happy Halloween tub from the chain you can pick up £65 profit for it on eBay.
PRINCESS DIANA BEANIE BABY – UP TO £70
A few years ago, an English couple listed one of the Diana tribute Beanie Babies on eBay for a whopping £75K, after buying the bear for just £10 in a car boot sale.
However, the purple bear didn't make anywhere near that amount.
TYCollector.com lists the values of all the different Beanie Babies and has warned people against paying excessive amounts on eBay, explaining the bear is actually worth between £30 and £70.

DISNEY VHS – UP TO £14,000
Just last month a set of 10 original Disney video tapes were being flogged on eBay for just shy of £14,000.
This particular collection are part of the "rare Black Diamond tapes" which were released by Disney between 1984 and 1993.
