Meghan Markle is ‘unfazed’ and ‘not wasting time or energy on the row over the private jets’, royal insider claims
MEGHAN Markle is "unfazed" and "not wasting time or energy on the row over the private jets", according to a royal insider.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, was said to be "moving on and riding above the storm", as she visited a charity fashion photo shoot.
Earlier this week, the new royal mum - who gave birth to baby son Archie in May - came under fire along with Prince Harry, 34, for taking four private jets in eleven days for holidays to Ibiza and Nice.
Then yesterday, a behind-the-scenes clip shared on Instagram showed Meghan surprising those involved in her new capsule collection for Smart Works - a charity which helps women get back on the career ladder by supporting them with new outfits and coaching.
She was filmed laughing and smiling, as well as hugging women, at the shoot on Wednesday for the clothing range being made in collaboration with Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Jigsaw and Misha Nonoo.
However, speaking to amid the controversy, a royal insider said: "She’s moving on and riding above the storm.
"She’s not wasting time or energy on the row over the private jets, instead she’s getting very excited about the new launch.”
Another source close to Meghan described her as "unfazed" and added: "As far as she is concerned it’s a storm that will blow over. She is focused on bigger things right now.”
They also claimed to the magazine that the duchess is "raring to go” ahead of her return to royal duties next month as her maternity leave comes to an end.
Along with Harry and Archie, she is due to embark on an official tour of South Africa.
It comes after the family jetted to Ibiza to celebrate Meghan's 38th birthday before returning to the UK and taking another trip to Elton John's villa in Nice for a three-day break.
