BEAUTY SLEEP

You can now buy a pillowcase that claims to stop you getting wrinkles and frizzy hair

A PILLOWCASE claims to prevent wrinkles and stops your hair from getting frizzy overnight – and it only costs £13.

While most of us sleep on standard cotton pillowcases, it turns out we really should be sleeping on satin ones.

Morning Glamour claims traditional bedding is more absorbent than silky fabrics, which suck away moisture from your skin and hair.

Satin pillowcases have a smoother surface, which reduces friction and stops hair from snapping or getting tangled during the night.

And the non-absorbent surface allows moisture to stay on the skin, which Morning Glamour says will reduce wrinkles.

The website says: “Satin pillowcases provides a smoother surface for your hair strands, which reduces matting, breakage, tangling and snagging.

Each pillowcase costs £12.99 and comes in a range of patterns

  • Morning Glamour Satin pillowcase, MakeupBoxLdn, £12.99 –

“Satin pillowcases are non-absorbent, helping your skin maintain maximum moisture.

“It also prevents wrinkles, allowing you to wake up with smooth, clear and flawless skin every morning.

“As you age, the “sleep” wrinkles that develop overnight do not disappear as quickly as they once did.

How Morning Glamour pillowcases work

  • Helps eliminate hair loss and reduces breakage, snagging and matting.
  • Non-absorbent unlike cotton pillowcases, helping your skin and hair maintain moisture.
  • Great for damaged hair.
  • Perfect to use with extensions.
  • Prevents night-time wrinkles.
  • Helps prevent wrinkles long term.
  • Wake up with glowing skin and non-frizzy hair.

“This is especially important because those “sleep wrinkles” that develop overnight might become permanent as we age.”

Morning Glamour also claims their “wrinkle-preventing, gentle-on-hair” bedding can help keep you cool during the night, perfect for a good night’s sleep.

Each pillowcase costs £12.99 for one, or you can buy a pack of two for £24.99, and they come in various colours and patterns including leopard print and floral.
