Liz Hurley, Caroline Flack and Priyanka Chopra make a splash with the ‘on the edge’ new Instagram pose
WHEN you're a kid learning to swim minus arm bands, clutching the pool side is pretty non-negotiable.
Now, stars including Liz Hurley, Caroline Flack and Priyanka Chopra are clinging to the side of the pool of their own accord for the new 'on the edge' Instagram pose.
The most committed to the half-submerged stance is 54-year-old actress and swimwear entrepreneur Liz.
She held on to the side of the pool as she took a dip and simultaneously stared up at the camera.
In a slightly less dramatic version of the look, Caroline held on to the edge while on holiday in the French Riviera.
However, the Love Island host, 39, appeared to be nodding off as she inexplicably closed eyes and rested her head on her arms.
Similarly, Priyanka Chopra, 37, also kept her cool with a relaxed twist on the chilled pose.
The actress and wife of Nick Jonas, 26, balanced her chin on her arms and allowed her body to float to the surface behind her.
It's an almost identical stance to one executed by Demi Rose.
Except this time the 24-year-old model raised her face off the ground and stared sultrily into the camera.
However, Chloe Sims has arguably blown her below stars out of the water with her elegant take on the pose.
The Towie favourite, 36, defied gravity but gripped on tight to ensure her locks remained dry despite her precarious surroundings.
Also keen to avoid getting wet - but perhaps slightly missing the point of a swimming pool - Zara McDermott used both hands to balance on the pool edge.
The 22-year-old Love Island star and girlfriend of Sam Thompson, 26, used the opportunity to show off her lime green bikini.
And another famous face to make a halfhearted splash was Megan McKenna, 26, who also played it safe with a perch on the poolside.
Will you give the pose a go?
