Mum transforms her garden with just £22 – after making impressive outdoor furniture set from wooden pallets and paint

OUTDOOR furniture sets can be expensive, especially if you're looking for something a little fancier than a table and chairs.

But one woman has taken to Facebook to reveal how she managed to spend just £22 on a DIY seating area that could easily fit up to 10 people.

Posting the image on the , she wrote: "Made from pallets, cost me £22 to make and the cushions are from a charity shop, £2 each they cost more than the bench and table."

After managing to source the pallets for just £8, she also bought some black paint from Wilko, which cost £14.

The post has since garnered over 12,000 likes and almost 2,000 comments, with other users stunned at the impressive handy work.

Some even commented asking the mum to share a video tutorial of how she did it.

One wrote: "Can u do me a video on how you made them? Thanks."

Others called it "amazing" while one woman tagged her boyfriend and instructed him to "add [it] to [his] project list."

Some users, despite being impressed at the masterpiece, explained they would never have the time to make one from scratch, with one person commenting: "How long did it take to make?? I really wanna do this but it's finding time."

Another said: "Wish I was good at DIY - stunning, I'm very jealous."

One person pointed out: "Great job, would have cost a fortune to get something like that ready made."
