A SAVVY mum has proven that you don’t need to flash the cash to give a tired-looking kitchen an impressive makeover.

Taking to Facebook to share her accomplishment, the clever mum uploaded multiple before and after photos which showed off her handiwork – before claiming it cost her no more than £50 all in all.

The results of her DIY kitchen project are impressive and didn’t require breaking the bank

Though she is only renting the property, she began to feel fed up with her less-than-generous landlord not modernising the kitchen.

Therefore she decided to handle the matter herself while still sticking to rental property guidelines.

She said: “Live in a rented house? Take it in your own hands and do it the best you can as cheap as possible without ruining the property.

“New floor, painted cupboards and tiles (stick adhesive) all costs £50 in total.”

As well as giving the kitchen a stylish edge with wallpaper that simply stuck on top of the properties aged white tiles

She also generously shared the cheap as chips products she used that evidently made all the difference.

For modernising the cupboards, she used a B&Q paint.

While she covered the old-fashioned flooring with Poundland floor tiles.

And finally, she gave the dowdy wall tiles a once over without causing damage by using Lidl wall stickers – that will only set you back a fiver.
