Prince Harry’s on a ‘different planet’ since he married Meghan Markle, royal expert claims
A ROYAL expert claims Prince Harry is on a “different planet” to how he grew up now he’s with Meghan Markle.
Duncan Larcombe, who has written about the Duke of Sussex, 34, since he was a teenager, said the prince is now “worlds away” from how he was as a cheeky young royal.
The royal commentator told Fabulous Digital: “He’s on a different planet from the Harry we’ve seen develop from a teen to an adult to an army officer to the most popular member of the royal family.
“It’s worlds away from how Harry has been for his life.
“Harry is saying all the right things but saying them in a way that is so un-Harry, that perhaps people who have identified with him for years are thinking ‘what’s going on?’ ‘What’s gotten into Harry?’”
Duncan said he was absolutely delighted to see Prince Harry so happy when he got engaged to Meghan, and called their romance a “true love story”.
He said: “I think he’s the happiest now he’s ever been. He’s still caught in a whirlwind romance and when people do get married they do change.”
It was reported this week that former army member Prince Harry now has a guilty pleasure in loving £50 pedicures.
The royal, who did a barefoot speech on climate change at last week’s Google camp in Sicily, prepared for the event by getting his toes done.
Sources say he and wife Meghan enjoy massages and other spa treatments while baby Archie snoozes on day trips to posh hotel Coworth Park in Ascot.
And Meghan hit headlines last week after her “woke” guest-edited copy of Vogue was released, featuring a quote about living like a mermaid and doing breathing workouts.
Duncan said: “It just seems such a stark contrast to the Harry we used to know. Maybe he’s such a treasured figure in the public eye, maybe the public don’t want to see a change in him.
“But barely a day goes by that I don’t read something they’ve said or seen something they’ve done.
“You can make a whole list of the points, from not revealing who the godparents are, not allowing a fixed point for the media at the christening...
“Certain people are being given enough ammunition to fire against the two of them."

Duncan added it would be a “shame” if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex don’t see this current time as an opportunity to learn and grow from any PR slips.
He said: “If this carries on, the negative stories will continue.
“In a year’s time, it would be such a shame for them both.”
Even Prince Harry’s old army friends are said to have commented on the change in their pal.
One military source said: “Pedicures and massages? He’s changed!”
A pal said: “Harry used to be a proper bloke — dodgy dress sense, liked a drink and didn’t care how he looked.
“In his Army days he would have laughed if someone had offered him a pedicure.
“Now he’s pontificating about saving the world and doesn’t smoke or drink.”
Harry was criticised last week for preaching on saving the environment while using a private jet and helicopter to attend the secretive Google summer retreat.
